Before you send

  1. Create a project

    Sign up for free and copy your secret key from the project settings.

  2. Verify your domain

    Add the DNS records Plunk shows you. It checks them and tells you when you can send.

  3. Send

    Use the API or your framework’s mailer, below. Every email shows up in the dashboard.

Send with Laravel over SMTP

Laravel’s SMTP mailer needs only these values. Port 587 negotiates TLS automatically.

.env
MAIL_MAILER=smtp
MAIL_HOST=smtp.useplunk.com
MAIL_PORT=587
MAIL_USERNAME=plunk
MAIL_PASSWORD=your_plunk_secret_key
MAIL_FROM_ADDRESS=hello@acme.com
MAIL_FROM_NAME="Acme"

Send with the API

Use the API with Laravel’s HTTP client when you want Plunk templates or workflows.

app/Services/Plunk.php
use Illuminate\Support\Facades\Http;

Http::withToken(config('services.plunk.secret'))
    ->post('https://send-api.akmarketingseo.com/v1/send', [
        'to' => 'ana@acme.com',
        'subject' => 'Welcome to Acme',
        'body' => '<p>Thanks for signing up.</p>',
    ])
    ->throw();
